The experience
Route 11 opens onto the landscape before reaching the glacier.
The journey follows sections of Lake Argentino and crosses the Patagonian steppe toward Los Glaciares National Park. Regional birds such as flamingos, black-necked swans or steamer ducks may appear along the way; sightings depend on the season and the day’s conditions.
Photo stops and viewpoints are considered highlights of the journey when access, weather and operating time allow.

The road and first view
The Route 11 journey may include a stop at the El Calafate sign and other panoramic points. Inside the park, Curva de los Suspiros offers the first sweeping view of the glacier when access and conditions allow.
- 02
Glacier walkways
In the main area, you can explore viewing platforms and trails with different perspectives on the ice. Transport includes the outbound and return journeys, with an agreed meeting time so you can enjoy the walkways at ease.
- 03
Optional boat trip
An approximately one-hour boat trip operates in front of the glacier. It is purchased separately, is not included in the transfer, and is best discussed or purchased on site, subject to operation and availability.
